Request that a salesperson come out to your home to
discuss and provide you with information about the various paving
stone installation options. At that time, the salesperson will measure
your deck area and start gathering facts for your estimate.
-
Visit the Brickyard showroom in Cocoa or Daytona to
select the paving stone pattern(s) and color(s). During your visit to
the showroom, the rest of the necessary information for your
particular installation will be obtained.
-
A personal quote is prepared for you and is either
faxed or mailed to you for your approval.
-
After we obtain your approval, the paving stones are
ordered.
-
Once we obtain the delivery date from the paving stone
manufacturer, we will notify you when to expect to receive the paving
stones at your house.
-
A designated work crew will prepare the area that the
paving stones will be installed over. This may include: removing pool
tiles, excavating around the deck so it can be extended over a grassy
area, or just removing loose material off the base of the deck. The
crew will also check to make sure that there is a proper slope for
water drainage.
-
If you are also replacing the pool mosaic tiles, it
will be up to you to have a pool company install them for you. Once
the pool mosaic tiles are installed, our company will place bull nose
coping stones around the pool and grout between the coping stones.
-
The next step in the process is to trowel a thin
covering of sand over the existing pool deck. The various types of
paving stones are then cut as required and set into place.
-
The paving stones at the outer edge of the pool deck
are then cemented down to the base. In addition, if you have paving
stones going over an excavated section (i.e. over an existing grassy
area), an edge restrain is also installed.
-
The final step in the process is to fill in the joints
between the paving stones with sand.
-
At this time, you will be able to inspect, admire, and
enjoy your new pool surroundings!
