Hermann Bach Paving Stones
Completes Major Interlocking Paver Project at the Kennedy Space Center

CondoManagement - August 1999  – Florida

Hermann Bach Paving Stones Inc., an 11-year-old company, specializes in the sales and installation of decorative surfaces in Brevard, Orange and Broward counties. The Brickyard offers an array of products to beautify your community association.

  • Interlocking pavers - Available in 2 3/8" and 1" thickness, they bring longevity, low-maintenance and appeal to pool decks, walk ways and entryways.

  • Cultured stone - A decorative wall surface that emulates the look of real stone.

  • Wall system stones - Ideal for retention walls, raised flowerbeds and borders.

  • Bullnose coping - Provides rounded edging around pools, spas or steps.

  • Drive-on specialty tiles - Used on driveways, parking lots and pool decks, this slip-resistant product offers durability in heavy traffic areas.

One of the Hermann Bach Paving Stones' most exceptional projects was scheduled for completion last month at the Kennedy Space Center. Angela Bach, The Brickyard's manager and design consultant, describes the enormous scope of the project. "The installation of 65,000 square feet of pavers was part of a major renovation project at the Kennedy Space Center overseen by Ivey's Construction Inc., a general contractor. The Hermann Bach Paving Stones was responsible for the installation of different shaped/colored pavers in the entrance area of the newly designed visitors' center. Organizing the deliveries of all materials needed, processing change orders and coordinating with other trades and the general contractor were all part of the job. Our greatest accomplishment was completing work ahead of schedule, despite design changes and having to work around the other trades (carpenters, roofers, painters, etc.). Ingenuity and flexibility helped us accomplish our goal of delivering superior products and craftsmanship."
